Eligibility Criteria for Authorised Doctor

Essential Qualification

• MBBS degree from any recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Experience

• Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' experience (post-qualification experience) in any hospital or as a Medical Practitioner.

Job Responsibilities & Scope

• Provide services for minimum ten working hours weekly at fixed timings (minimum 2 hours a day).
• Emergency services, house visits to executives/family members, advice on medical certificates, CSR/medical camps participation, and other assigned works.

1. Interested candidates should apply in the prescribed format (Annex-III) along with checklist (Annex-IV).
2. Send the application in a sealed cover super scribed as: "Application for the post of Authorised Doctor on contract basis".
3. The application should reach the Chief Manager, Indian Bank, Zonal Office, Varanasi S-19/33, Md. Ekram Building, Varuna Bridge, Nadesar, Varanasi - 221002, on or before 05:00 PM of 31 January 2026.
4. Attested copies of certificates regarding ID & Address proof, age, educational qualifications, experience etc. must accompany the application.
5. Duly signed copy of Annexure-I (Terms and Conditions of Contract) and Annexure-II (Code of Conduct) is required.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on an interview for shortlisted candidates. The Bank reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates called for the interview. Candidates selected will be appointed subject to being found medically fit and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Contract.
