The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar, has released a major recruitment notification (Advt. No. 02/2026) for 993 posts of Constable (Operator) [Sipahi (Prachalak)] in the Bihar Police Radio Organization. Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification

  • Required: Intermediate (10+2) in Science stream or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks in Science subjects. (Relaxation to 45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • Cut-off Date: Qualification must be met as of 31.03.2026.

2. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years.
  • Maximum Age (as on 01.08.2026):
    • Unreserved (UR): 25 years
    • Backward/Extremely Backward (Males): 27 years
    • Backward/Extremely Backward (Females): 28 years
    • SC/ST/Transgender: 30 years

3. Physical Standards

Height:

  • Unreserved/Backward Class Males: 165 cm

Chest (Males only):

  • Unreserved/Backward: 81-86 cm (Expansion: 5 cm)

Syllabus Highlights
