Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Scientist - B
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable).
- Experience: Candidates should have experience in fabrication of scientific instruments.
- Remarks: Superannuated scientists are also welcome.
Eligibility for Junior Research Scientist (JRS) / Senior Research Scientist (SRS)
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable).
- Year of Completion: 2023 or later.
- Research Area: Optical Astronomy, High Energy Astrophysics, Ionospheric Science.
- Remarks: Residential program at Integrated Campus, Kolkata; IERCOO campus Sitapur, West Medinipur; and ISBF Campus, Chandrapur, Birbhum. Contact faculties directly for hosting.
Eligibility for NPDF
- Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics.
- Research Area: Astrochemistry/Astrobiology.
- Remarks: Provided by Govt.
Eligibility for JRF / SRF
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable).
- Year of Completion: 2023 or later.
- Research Area: Space Radiation.
- Experience/Funding: Should have own fund.
- Preferred: Valid CSIR/UGC-NET and/or DST-INSPIRE scholarship preferred.
