Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Scientist - B

Essential: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable). Year of completion: 2023 or later.
Experience: Candidates should have experience in fabrication of scientific instruments. Superannuated scientists are also welcome.

Eligibility for Junior Research Scientist (JRS) and Senior Research Scientist (SRS)

Essential: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable). Year of completion: 2023 or later.

Eligibility for NPDF

Essential: Ph.D. in Physics.

Eligibility for JRF / SRF

Essential: M.Sc. in Physics with minimum 55% marks (Relaxation for reserved candidates as applicable). Year of completion: 2023 or later.
Desirable: Valid CSIR/ UGC-NET and / or DST-INSPIRE scholarship preferred.
