ICMR Consultant (Scientific) (Medical) Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 1 Post

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has released a recruitment notification for engagement of Non-Institutional scientific project human resource positions. This recruitment is for the Medical Device & Diagnostics Mission Secretariat under MedTech Mitra on a temporary contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Consultant (Scientific) (Medical)

• Essential Qualification: Professionals having proven competency and success in their area of specialization, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience and should possess minimum MBBS.
• Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Experience of conducting clinical studies-Medical devices & Diagnostics, Quality assurance, Medical Laboratory management, Laboratory Diagnostics.
  • Experience of writing study protocols, Training Protocols, CRF, consent forms, manuscript writing.
• Age Limit: Minimum 35 Years to Maximum 70 Years (as on 20.01.2026).

Salary

Consolidated emoluments are between Rs. 1,00,000/- to Rs. 1,80,000/- per month, depending upon the experience and knowledge.

Selection Process

Applications received within the stipulated date and time will be screened by the screening committee of ICMR to shortlist candidates for further process. Candidature of successful candidates shall be subject to verification of all original documents and fulfillment of required eligibility criteria. The decision of the DG, ICMR will be final and binding.
