Technical Assistant and Technician

Number of Vacancy: 61 Posts

Educational Qualification:
Technical Assistant: B.Sc. / B.Pharm. or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks, having Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance as one of the subjects and one year experience in handling analytical Instruments and working in Quality Control & Quality Assurance environment as per regulatory guidelines from a recognized Institute / Organization.

Technician: SSC / 10th Standard /SSC or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in the Relevant Trade as per post code details OR SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 2 years full time experience as an apprentice trainee from a recognized Institution in the Relevant Trade as per post code details.

Pay Scale:
INR
19900-112400/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years.

Selection Procedure: The candidates as recommended by the Screening Committee will be invited for Trade/Skill Test. Those who qualify in the Trade/Skill Test will be invited for aCompetitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the Competitive Written Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS category are required to remit an application fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) by way of DemandDraft/Banker’s Cheque drawn in the name of ‘Director, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu’ payable at Jammu. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-servicemen/Abroad Candidates andregular CSIR Employees are exempted from submission of application fee.
