Application for the position of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in externally funded Project­­

Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) on a contract basis to work on a DST sponsored project (IPA/2021/000257) “Center of antibody engineering: Center for Immuno-Diagnostics/Therapeutics Veneering Technologies (CiVET)”.

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellows

2. Working Area: Antibody engineering, Virology, and Immunology, Plant Molecular Biology

3. Duration: Initially one year with a possibility of extension for one year. An additional year as senior research fellow (SRF) with enhanced emoluments as per the terms and conditions of the funding agency based on satisfactory performance of the candidate and the availability of funds remains a possibility.

4. Essential Qualification:  M.Sc. or M. Tech with first division or equivalent CGPA and the candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test /or GATE or any other equivalent national level exams

5. Desirable qualification: A working experience with antibody engineering/molecular biology/virology would be highly valued.  Person having experience in the area of plant transformation, plant molecular biology, plant tissue culture, protein purification will be preferred for the 2nd position.

6. Consolidated Salary: Rs. 31000.00 + 8% HRA for JRF (No accommodation will be provided)
