Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Consultant

• Essential Qualification:
  • PhD + 10 years experience OR M.Tech + 15 years experience.
  • One of the degrees should be either from IITs/IISc or higher institutes with B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience:
  • Dam Safety & Management.
  • Reservoir operation and Interlinking of rivers.
  • Solution of Dam problems in the field.
• Desirable: The candidates should have outstanding academic performance throughout.

Salary/Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 75,000/- to 2,50,000/- per month plus HRA.

• Reporting Time: Candidates should report by 09:30 A.M.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview scheduled for January 12, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. in ICED, IIT Roorkee.

Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the office of the Principal Investigator through email, by post, or produce at the time of the Interview:

• Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates obtained.
• Experience including research, industrial field and others.
• Attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.

Note: Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
