Engagement of contractual staff at IIP - Adjunct Professor. Assistant Professor. Young Professional/Consultant, Librarian & Designer. Indian Institute of Packaging is an autonomous and apex body working under the Ministry or Commerce &Industry, Govt. of India for promotion of packaging standards and exports in the country since 1966. With its Headquarters and Principal Laboratories in Mumbai and other Regional Offices, activities of the Institute are in line with those of the world's Premiere Packaging Institutes. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of purely temporary and contractual staff at JIP as given below:
1. Name of the Post: Young professional/Consultant
2. No of Post: One (IIP Mumbai - Director Office)
3. Essential Qualification: Graduation with three year's experience in similar administrative capacity. Post graduate or MBA with two year's experience in admin. matters/ good communication skills in Hindi & English (speaking & writing, letter drafting, business communication sound computer knowledge of MS Office etc.
4. Experience: Preference will be given to higher experience.
5. Fixed Consolidated Remuneration Per Month all inclusive: up to 45000/-

Selection Procedure
The temporary and contractual engagement is purely on contract basis. Applications received in response to this advertisement will be shortlisted on the basis of qualification and experience of applicants. The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is a national apex body which was set up in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. The Institute is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Institute endeavors to improve the standard of packaging needed for the promotion of exports and create infrastructural facilities for overall packaging improvement in India. This is achieved through the Institute’s multifarious activities which are today, in line with those of premier packaging institutes the world over. The Institute aims to make India a focal point for contemporary developments in Art, Science, Technology and Engineering, with respect to the field of Packaging.
The Institute began in a very humble way, with an office at Mumbai. It has now expanded, with its Head Quarter at Mumbai and Centers located at Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.
