Inviting Applications for Engagement of Senior Fellowship in Food Safety & Nutrition (SFFan) on Contract Basis at IIP Mumbai to work under FSSAI funded project NetSCoFAN
1. Post Name: Senior Fellowship
2. Essential Qualification & Relevant Experience:
(i) First Class Master's or equivalent post graduate degree in Packaging/Polymer Science/Polymer Science and Technology/Printing/Paper technology/Food Science and TechnologyfPharma/Material Science. OR
(ii) First Class ME, M.Tech. or equivalent postgraduate degree in Plastic and polymer Engineering/Printing and Paper Technology/Food Process Engineering/ /PharmafMaterial Science/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
3. Desirable: NET/GATE qualification. Knowledge of computer applications including web-searching, MS-Office, report writing and Handling instruments like HPLC, GCMS, ICP-OES, DSC, FTIR.
4. Experience: (i) or (ii) should be followed by at least two years of proven post - qualification experience in the relevant field: Packaging, Development of Food Contact Materials.
5. Remunerations: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA

Selection Procedure
1. Screening & selection will be done by IIP through interview of the short-listed candidates. Merely fulfilling of the essential qualifications will not entitle a candidate for being called for interview
2. IIP reserves the right to call or not to call a candidate for interview. IIP will carry out the selection of the Senior Fellows in Food Safety & Nutrition (SFFan).
3. Date of Interview Will be informed to the shortlisted candidates through email.

2. Candidate fulfilling the above eligible criteria is advised to submit online application using google form uploaded on IIP website along with copies of all relevant testimonials /certificates/ marksheets/ grade cards, details of educational, technical & professional qualification.
3. Copies of work experience certificates, research work papers, publications, brief write up supporting the candidature/suitability for the desired contractual post, email addresses and contact numbers of minimum two referees

The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) is a national apex body which was set up in 1966 by the packaging and allied industries and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, with the specific objective of improving the packaging standards in the country. The Institute is an autonomous body working under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Institute endeavors to improve the standard of packaging needed for the promotion of exports and create infrastructural facilities for overall packaging improvement in India. This is achieved through the Institute’s multifarious activities which are today, in line with those of premier packaging institutes the world over. The Institute aims to make India a focal point for contemporary developments in Art, Science, Technology and Engineering, with respect to the field of Packaging.
The Institute began in a very humble way, with an office at Mumbai. It has now expanded, with its Head Quarter at Mumbai and Centers located at Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai.
