Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Institute invites online applications from Indian nationals for the following positions
1. Position: Senior Technical Officer
2. Number of Posts: 01
3. Scale of Pay: Level 11 (Entry Basic Pay Rs. 67,700/-) as per the 7th Pay
4. Essential Qualification: Masters’ degree in Science or equivalent with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% marks)
5. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (as mentioned under Job requirements) in a post carrying Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (PB-3) / Level 10 or equivalent post.
6. Job Requirements:
a. Manage Science Activity Centre (SAC) of the institute and carry out activities for Science and Mathematics outreach and popularization
b. Design experiments and apparatus for concept-based learning at the school and college level
c. Organize and conduct school and junior college teacher training workshops
7. Desirable:
Demonstrated ability and experience of conducting popular science and outreach activities at various levels Experience in curriculum-based engagement with school or junior college teachers Fluency in English, Hindi, Marathi languages for conducting workshops and demonstrations for school and college teachers and students

5. Desirable:
Experience in science and mathematics teaching and outreach activities at high school and junior college level. Experience in conducting workshops and designing experiments Conversant with multimedia tools, presentation software and web tools.
