IISER Pune Research Associate Recruitment 2026 – Notification Overview

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune) has released a recruitment notification under Advt. No. 78/2026 for the engagement of one Research Associate on a temporary basis. Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Research Associate: The candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from a recognized university. Candidates with hands-on research experience in Organic Synthesis, Catalysis, and Flow Chemistry will be preferred during the screening process.
• Age Limit: The maximum upper age limit is 35 years as of the closing date of application (09 October 2026).
• Employment Type: This is a temporary / contractual research position. It is not a permanent government job or a sanctioned cadre appointment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection of candidates for the IISER Pune Research Associate position will be carried out through the following stages:

1. Screening Committee Review: An internal screening committee will review all received applications and shortlist eligible candidates based on educational qualification, research experience, and relevant expertise.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The exact date and venue of the interview will be communicated separately to the shortlisted candidates. No separate admit card will be issued for the interview.

Important Note: The institute reserves the right to shortlist candidates and conduct the interview on a specific date. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview unless otherwise stated in the official notification.
