Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project with the following details:

1. Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Number of Positions: One

3. Title of the Project: A fully integrated low-latency, high dynamic range, bio-inspired event-based dynamic and active vision sensor (DAVIS) with global shutter operation for object tracking, classification, and recognition in a highly dynamic scene

4. Essential qualifications: Candidates need to satisfy the following two criteria: Graduate in Electrical/Electronics/Communications/Instrumentation or M.Tech/ME/MS in Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ VLSI/Microelectronics/Electronics System Design/Embedded Systems/ or related areas. Qualified in any of the following National eligibility test/exam:

a. GATE

b. CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)

c. National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOSs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

5. Desirable: Having good knowledge of Circuit Design, Analog/Digital Circuits, Layout Design, and Electronic Devices. Programming skills in C/Python/MATLAB.

6. Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + 16% House Rent Allowance per month

7. Duration: The appointment for the above contractual position will be initially for a period of 01 year, which may be further extended or curtailed, based on the performance of the candidate, availability of funds in the project, and requirement in the project.
