Educational Qualification: Any Bachelors Degree, Any Masters Degree
Sports Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of various sports facilities viz football field, cricket field, athletic track, swimming pool etc. available at IIT Gandhinagar. It is a service-oriented position where the Facility Manager has to ensure that sporting operations and events are conducted smooothly.

2. Key Responsibilities :
a) Coordinating, planning, and supervising the operations and maintenance of various sporting facilities.
b) Management of scheduling, inventory, equipment, and budget.
c) Management of property security systems and safety protocols.
d) Management of workforce engaged in operations and maintenance of the facilities.
3. Eligibility:
a) Masters degree with good academic standing and at least three years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with good academic standing and at least five years of experience
b) Preferred specialization: Sports Management/Turf Management/Business Administration/Physical education/Recreational management or related areas.
c) Should have experience of independently handling and managing sports facilities and
sports events in a govt/semi-govt/autonomous organizations.
4. Preferred Experience and Skill Set: Technical skills in turf management, HVAC, sound systems. Familiar with emergency protocols.Strong interpersonal and public relations leadership abilities to effectively manage staff at his/her disposal in the best interest of the institute Having managerial, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic planning, and other related business skills.
5. Salary : Rs 40,000 to 50,000 consolidated pay commensurate with experinces + Accommodation/ HRA.
6. Duration: One-year fixed-term, subject to extension based on evaluation at the end of tenure.
