Applications are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following temporary position in the Sponsored Research Project at this Institute. The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 06 Months, and extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on contractual basis with consolidated pay. The requisite qualification, experience and others details are given below:

2. Project Title: Development of Highly Efficient Low Cost Insulation for power plants

3. Duration for initial appointment: 06 Months

6. Consolidate Pay: Rs. 31,000/-

7. Eligibility: B. Tech./M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal and Fluids. GATE qualification in relevant discipline is Mandatory for Non-CFTI Candidate.

8. Desirable Qualification: Post 1: Hands-on experience in experiments related to thermal and fluid domain (heat transfer/infrared thermography/PIV/IC engines/Combustion). Post 2: Hands on experience in CFD (Heat transfer/Spray)

9. Brief description of Project: Experiments and Simulations in Heat transfer and flow measurement for Gas turbines. This project is in collaboration with industry

10. Job Description: Experiments on thermal and fluid systems, CFD Simulations, Report writing, Material procurement, Project related travel
