Note: All candidates must also have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture. Candidates in their final year may apply, but must acquire the required qualification by the date of the examination.

- General & Creamy Layer OBC/MBC: Rs. 600/-
- Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC, EWS, SC/ST (Rajasthan): Rs. 400/-
- All Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): Rs. 400/-
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-10 (7th Pay Commission). During the two-year probation period, a fixed monthly remuneration (as notified by the state government) will be paid instead of the regular pay scale, and no additional allowances will be admissible during this period.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection will be made purely through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Tablet-Based Test (TBT) / OMR-Based Offline Test โ the mode will be decided by the Board and communicated separately. If conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be normalized across sessions.

- Question Type: Objective/Multiple Choice
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd (0.33) mark deducted for each wrong answer
- OMR Answer Sheet: Has 5 options (AโE) per question. Option E must be marked if a question is left unattempted. If more than 10% of questions have no option darkened at all, the candidate will be disqualified.

Candidates must apply online only through the SSO Portal. Follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the SSO Portal: Go to http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in and log in using your SSO ID.
- Select Recruitment: Select the โRecruitment Portalโ under Citizen Apps (G2C) and click โApply Now.โ
- Complete OTR: If you haven't completed One Time Registration (OTR), register first by entering your category, disability status, and home state details, then pay the OTR fee.
- Fill Application: Once OTR is complete, proceed to fill the online application form using your SSO ID. Upload a recent photograph (not older than one month) and mark any visible body identification mark as required.
- Upload Documents: Carefully select your educational qualification in the OTR dashboard's Document Verification (ODV) section, and upload qualification-related documents in the Document Details section.
- Select Department Priority: Fill in your department priority (PWD/Water Resources/Public Health Engineering) carefully โ no correction to priority order is allowed later.
- Submit: Review all entries on the Preview screen, then Final Submit the application. An Application ID/Number will be generated โ this confirms successful submission.
- Save Printout: Save a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
Important: Information fetched from OTR (name, father's name, date of birth, photograph, signature, thumb impression) cannot be edited within the application form directly โ any correction must be made in the OTR profile itself before the OTR data is re-fetched into the application.
