Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record in all preceding degrees.
• Experience & Appointment Type:
  • Fresh Ph.D. holders will be appointed on contract for the first three years (Grade II).
  • Candidates with three or more years of post-PhD teaching/research/industrial experience may be considered for a regular appointment (Grade I).
  • The requirements of minimum qualification and/or experience may be relaxed for candidates with outstanding credentials.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be based on the candidate's academic record, presentation in an interview, and research potential.
• Mere eligibility will not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview.
• The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without assigning any reason.
• TA/DA for Interview: Applicants called for and appearing in interview will be paid to and fro economy air fare/train fare by the shortest route (within India) and taxi fare from Lucknow airport to IITK and back. The amount will be reimbursed via electronic transfer after processing.
