Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Technical Assistant to work in DST sponsored Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Ropar in the framework of National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM - ICPS).
1. Position description: Technical Assistant
2. Location: IIT Ropar, Punjab
3. Number of positions: 01 (one)
4. Type of job: Full time (on contract)
5. Duration: 3 years position. Initially for 1 year. Contract can be extended beyond three years based on satisfactory performance. Regular assessment (Half yearly/Yearly) would be done.
6. Necessary qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Agriculture/Horticulture/Food or allied branches. Minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST)
7. Preferred qualifications: Good knowledge of Agriculture/fisheries/agriculture machinery. Practical experience in farming/agriculture/indoor farming/farm machinery design. Design knowledge of automation, sensors, Cyber Physical Systems design, electronics, programming with cloud data etc.
8. Remuneration: Rs 20,000/- + HRA (as per DST norms). Suitable accommodation on institute campus may be provided based on availability.
