Purchase Executive

Educational Qualification:
Skills required:
Knowledge of basic accounting principles such as debits, credits, and financial statements.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems.
Proficient in English (verbal and written)
Sales management and planning
Understanding of supply chain procedures
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
Solid negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysis.

Job Description:
Manage sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services.
Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability as per requirements.
Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Proficient in using accounting software like Tally for recording transactions and generating reports.
Familiarity with GEM, Government Financial Rules (GFR), Public Financial Management System (PFMS), and EAT module.
Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and procedures.
Stay updated with government regulations, rules, and guidelines related to procurement activities.
Prepare and process documentation related to tendering and bidding processes as per government rules.
