Educational Qualification:A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate indicating they are a graduate on the day of registration.
Age Limit & Relaxation:Minimum 20 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01.08.2026 (born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2006). Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10 years), Ex-Servicemen & 1984 Riot Affected (5 years). Cumulative relaxation for SC/ST/OBC up to max 50 years.
Salary & Emoluments:
Scale of Pay: Basic Pay ₹48,480 – 2,000/7 – 62,480 – 2,340/2 – 67,160 – 2,680/7 – 85,920. DA, HRA, CCA etc., as per rules. One advance increment for prior relevant experience (subject to conditions).
Selection Process:

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is a major Indian nationalised bank. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Finance, Government of India based in Chennai, India, with about 3,400 domestic branches, about 6 foreign branches and representative office. Founded in February 1937 by M. Ct. M. Chidambaram Chettyar with twin objectives of specialising in foreign exchange business and overseas banking, it has created various milestones in Indian Banking Sector. During the nationalisation, IOB was one of the 14 major banks taken over by the government of India. It is one of the two banks recommended for privatization by NITI ayog as per various news reports. As on 31 March 2021, IOB's total business stands at ₹379,885 crore (US$53 billion).
