Eligibility for Hospitality Monitors

• Essential Qualification (Any one of the following full-time degrees):
  • B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM) affiliated to NCHM&CT/UGC/AICTE/Government of India.
  • BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism.
  • B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from Government recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government.
  • MBA (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Government recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government.
• Experience: Freshers with relevant educational qualification are eligible to apply.
• Desirable: Knowledge of computer (MS Office) and report preparation, ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.

Salary Package

• Total CTC: Rs. 30,000/- per month (inclusive of statutory deductions).
• Daily Allowance: Rs. 350/- per day for on-duty on-board in trains (100% for >12 hrs, 70% for 6-12 hrs, 30% for <6 hrs).
• Lodging Charges: Rs. 240/- per night if night stay is involved at outstation.
• National Holiday Allowance (NHA): As per extant policy.
• Medical Insurance: As per extant policy.

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit: 27 years for UR candidates (as on 21.01.2026).

• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC: 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation
• Ex-servicemen: Up to service rendered + 3 years
