Indian Statistical Institute Invites Application for Research Associate Recruitment 2022

1. Eligible and interested candidates should apply for the position with a cover letter addressed to the Professor-in- Charge, Applied Statistics Division of the Institute, which is required to include

(a) Name (In block letters),

(b) Permanent/Present Address,

(c) E-mail Address,

(d) Telephone/Mobile No.,

(e) Parent's/Spouse's Name,

(O Date of birth,

(g) Academic Qualifications (with the percentage of marks obtained in each examination starting from 10th class),

(h) Experience (if any),

(i) Aadhar Card No.,

(j) SC/ST/OBC/Diffcrently abled status, self-attested soft copies of all documents/ testimonials latest by 5th February 2022 through e-mail to: [email protected] and must contain a CV including a research statement and a teaching statement.

2. Candidates should arrange for two reference letter(s) to be sent directly to [email protected] by 8th February 2022 from persons who can comment on his/her doctoral and/or Post- Doctoral work(s) including one from his/her Ph.D. supervisor(s).

3. The selected candidate will be posted in Kolkata or Bangalore or Chennai. At the time of joining, selected candidate has to produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification and a medical certificate of fitness from the Medical Officer of the Institute.

4. Failing this, the institute will offer the position to the next candidate in the merit list prepared for this purpose. The candidates, who would be shortlisted, need to make an open presentation followed by interaction with the selectors.

5. All recruitment procedures will be carried out with maintaining of all preventive measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Global epidemic as directed by the Government of India.

6. The selected candidates are expected to collaborate with the faculty of the Applied Statistics Division.

7. The selected candidate needs to submit a written report to the Professor-in-Charge, Applied Statistics Division and the Deputy Director of Indian Statistical Institute about the work done after the completion of the tenure.
