Sports Physiotherapist and Various Posts

Number of Vacancy: Various Posts

Educational Qualification:
National Chief Coach: Diploma in Coaching from SAI, NS NIS, or from any other recognized Indian/Foreign University OR Certificate course in Olympic Solidarity by International Weightlifting Federation / Level courses – Mandatory.

Senior Coach: Diploma or equivalent in Coaching from SAI, NS NIS, or from any other recognized Indian/Foreign University - Mandatory.

Coach: NIS Diploma / Level 2 Course coaches from IWLF or international university/National Awardees - Mandatory.

Sports Physiotherapist: Masters Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) qualification from a recognized university/institute will be given preference. Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) qualification from a recognized university/institute.

Sports Masseur/Masseuse : Must have passed SSC/HrSC examination from a recognized Board. Higher educational qualifications may be preferred. Certified Sports Massage Course from a recognized university/institute 3. No online degree/diploma will be accepted as a substitute for the above.

About Indian Weightlifting Federation

Indian Weightlifting Federation (IWLF), registration no. S-4286 of 1960 is affiliated with International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), Asian Weightlifting Federation (AWF), Commonwealth Weightlifting Federation (CWF) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYA&S)

The sport of weightlifting was one of the first sports included in the first Edition of Olympic Games during 1896 in Men Section whereas Women section was introduced in Sydney Olympics 2000.

The IWLF is the controlling body for weightlifting in India.
