Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on the research project entitled "Intensified production of levulinic acid as the building block from sustainable biomass using ultrasound and subsequent conversion to maleic anhydride" sponsored by the DST under the guidance of Prof. Parag R. Gogate of the Chemical Engineering Department. 1. Title of Post: Junior Research Fellow 2. No of Post: 01 3. Salary: Rs. 31,000 + HRA 4. Qualifications: M. Chem. Engg/M. Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Green Technology/Bioprocess Technology/Biotechnology or M.Sc. (chemistry) or M.Sc. (biochemistry/biotechnology) 5. Desirable Experience in the area of process intensification using ultrasound or conversion of sustainable biomass into value added Products 6. Duration of the project: 1 year to start with, can be extended based on satisfactory performance (maximum 3 years) Selected candidate is also required to register for PhD at ICT Hostel Facility is not guaranteed and hence candidate should be ready to arran e for local accommodation.

Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview which will be held mostly around 21st March 2022. No TA/DA will be applicable for attending the interview. Only the shortlisted students will be communicated about the interview date mostly by March 15th.
