1. Position: Field Survey Manager (FSM)

2. Organization: VKPL at IRMA

3. Experience: Minimum 10 years in field survey work

4. Education: Master’s in any social science field

5. Language requirement: Hindi and English (knowledge of additional languages is preferred)

6. Length of commitment: 5 Years (to be extended based on performance and funding)

7. Remuneration (CTC): Rs. 51,000

8. Skills Required: Good knowledge of household and village surveys. Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal motivation. Strong training and facilitation skills to mentor people in surveys and assessments. Fluency in local language and development context.  A degree, specialization, or post-graduate training in social sciences, monitoring and evaluation, statistical analysis, data management, or other relevant fields.Proven experience in fieldwork, supervision of data collection is highly preferred. Clear and effective written and oral communication skills in English and Hindi are a must

9. Responsibilities of Field Survey Manager: Supervise the field enumerators and ensure quality in all their assigned tasks. Field survey manager will undertake visits to the place of survey work and other research-related activities. Oversee all preparation of survey, including testing and training material, survey tools, and testing plans along with all logistical requirements (arrangements to be made by IRMA team based upon identified needs). Work and liaison with the contracted survey teams. The Field Survey Manager will regularly follow up with the supervisors appointed by the data collection firm to ensure that all the problem areas have been addressed and rectified. Wherever required, the Field Survey Manager will directly recruit and train local team of enumerators to conduct field surveys. Prepare reports on survey activities along with description of key activities, learnings, and recommendations, on a weekly basis.
