Instrumentation Limited has announced a total of 9 vacancies in Worker Grade 'C' across three departments — Production, Quality Control, and Plant Maintenance — under Fixed Term Employment at Palakkad, Kerala.

Allowances and Benefits: DA, HRA, PF, and other statutory benefits as applicable for the grade; Annual increment on Basic Pay subject to satisfactory performance; 12 days Casual Leave per calendar year (pro-rata); 2.5 days Earned Leave per month with year-end encashment provision.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

All candidates must be Indian nationals and must meet the trade-specific qualification, experience, and age conditions as on the date of advertisement. Mere conformity to the job requirements does not entitle a candidate to be called for the written/practical test.

• Turner Gr 'C' (Production and Quality Control): ITI (Turner) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Machinist Gr 'C': ITI (Machinist) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Fitter Gr 'C': ITI (Fitter) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Electrician Gr 'C': ITI (Electrician) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Welder Gr 'C': ITI (Welder) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Electronics Mechanic Gr 'C': ITI (Electronics Mechanic) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate
• Diesel Mechanic Gr 'C': ITI (Diesel Mechanic) Pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate

Medical Standards

Provisionally selected candidates must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination at the Instrumentation Limited Dispensary before joining. Candidates applying for technical positions with colour blindness will not be considered. No relaxation in health standards is allowed.

Application Fee Structure

The application fee must be paid exclusively by Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Instrumentation Limited, by any Scheduled Bank, payable at Palakkad. No other mode of payment is acceptable.

Candidates must write their name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. Applications without a proper Demand Draft (except PwD) will be summarily rejected.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Shortlisted candidates must produce all original documents at the time of document verification, including testimonials in support of age and qualification.
• Intimation about the written/practical test will be sent through e-mail and Speed Post.
• The minimum qualifying marks and test dates are not specified in the notification.
• Appointment is subject to verification of caste, character, and antecedents from the concerned authorities.

Travelling Allowance for Test Candidates

TA IS paid to candidates attending the written/practical test: III AC Class train fare by the shortest route, on production of proof of travel (original onward journey ticket and photocopy of return journey ticket). If travelling by another mode, reimbursement is limited to the shortest route by train fare or actual expenses, whichever is less. Candidates failing to produce original certificates will not be allowed to appear for the test and no TA will be payable.

Tenure of Engagement & Surety Amount

• Engagement is on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis, initially for 2 years, extendable by a further 2 years (maximum 4 years) at the discretion of the company based on requirement and satisfactory performance.
• These posts are NOT against any permanent vacancy. The placement does not entitle the candidate to regular/permanent employment in Instrumentation Limited in future.
• Surety Amount: 5% of monthly emoluments will be deducted at source as surety, payable back without interest on completion of the contract tenure. If the employee leaves before contract completion, the surety amount will not be returned.
