IRCON Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Indian Railway Construction International (IRCON) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 26 Apprentices Posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Online through the official IRCON website and must also submit a hard copy of their application. The last date to submit the online application form is 10th February 2026.

This recruitment drive offers excellent apprenticeship opportunities for fresh graduates and diploma holders in Civil, Electrical, and S&T disciplines. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend and gain valuable training experience across various IRCON project sites in multiple states.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Graduate Apprentices

• Essential Qualification: Graduate or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology streams (Civil, Electrical, S&T).
• Experience: Fresh graduates eligible. No prior apprenticeship training should have been completed.
• Important Points: Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination in 2026, 2025, 2024, or on or after 01.01.2023 (should not have completed more than 3 years after passing). Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in IRCON or any other organization need not apply. Candidates with one year or more of training/job experience after completion of education are not eligible.

Eligibility for Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• Essential Qualification: Diploma or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology streams (Civil, Electrical, S&T).
• Experience: Fresh diploma holders eligible. No prior apprenticeship training should have been completed.
• Important Points: Same conditions apply as for Graduate Apprentices regarding passing years and experience gap.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 01.01.2026)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years) relaxation applicable where seats are reserved for the category.

Stipend

• Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 10,000/- per month (Including DBT of Rs. 4,500/-)
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 8,500/- per month (Including DBT of Rs. 4,000/-)
• Training Duration: One Year (No extension after completion).
