Educational Qualification:
Assistant Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering from a Govt Recognized University established by Law.
Assistant Teacher: 1. B.T.C. Or B.Ed. Or Equivalent qualification from a Govt Recognized Institute 2. Candidate must have passed T.E.T. (Primary) or equivalent test conducted by State / Central Govt.
Junior Assistant: 1. Intermediate from a recognized Board OR Equivalent qualification 2. Typing speed at computer keyboard (30 WPM per minute in English OR 25 WPM per minute in Hindi) 3. CCC certificate from NIELIT (Formerly DOEACC Society) OR Equivalent certificate from a Govt recognized Institute.
Stenographer: 1. Intermediate from a recognized Board OR Equivalent qualification 2. Minimum 80 WPM speed is required in Shorthand (English / Hindi) 3. Minimum 30 WPM OR 25 WPM speed in English and Hindi Typing respectively 4. CCC certificate from NIELIT (Formerly DOEACC Society) OR Equivalent certificate from a Govt recognized Institute.
Electrician: 1. High School (10th) from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics subjects. 2. Two years Certificate in Electrician Trade from a Govt recognized I.T.I. OR Two Years Regular NCVT / SCVT Certificate in Electrician/ Electrical Trade.
Mechanic and Driver: 1. Intermediate (12th) from a recognized Board 2. Two years regular Certificate in Automobile Engineering / Motor Vehicle Mechanic from a Govt. recognized I.T.I. 3. The Candidate must have a valid Heavy Vehicle License issued by Transport Department of any State in India.
Office Assistant (Peon): High School (10th) from a recognized Board or Equivalent qualification.
Mali: High School (10th) from a recognized Board or Equivalent qualification.
Dresser: High School (10th) from a recognized Board or Equivalent qualification.

Jhansi Cantonment Board (JCB) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is a Category-II Cantonment divided into 7 wards. Jhansi Cantonment Board has 14 members including the ex-officio President Cantonment Board (PCB), 7 members elected by the general public of 7 wards, 2 ex-officio members, 2 members nominated by PCB, one member nominated by the District Magistrate and Chief Executive officer as Member-Secretary.
Jhansi Cantonment Board is located in the historic city of Jhansi in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. The Cantonment Board was established in the year 1842 and is one of the oldest cantonments in the country. According to the 2011 census, the total population of Jhansi Cantonment is 28343.
