Number of Vacancy: 14 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates Should have Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
Pay Scale:
INR
67700-144200/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 60 Years.
Selection Procedure: The scheme for selection involves ranking and shortlisting of candidates followed by preparation of rank-reservation roster for document verification and interview.
Application Fee:
The examination fee for candidates belonging to the Unreserved, Extremely Backward Class (Schedule-I), Backward Class (Schedule-II), and Economically Weaker Section of Citizens (EWS) categories is Rs. 600/-.
Exemption in examination fee – For Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste candidates of Jharkhand state, the examination fee is Rs. 150/- (One Hundred Fifty) + Bank Charges only.

About Jharkhand Public Service Commission
The State of JHARKHAND came into existence on 15th November, 2000 by carving out 18 districts of Bihar. The JHARKHAND Public Service Commission was constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of JHARKHAND. Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) was established with the aim of making a commission fully responsible for making the recruitment for the government posts in the state. The main objective of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state.
Jharkhand Public Service Commission conducts Preliminary Examination of Combined Civil Services examination for Jharkhand State. JPSC looks after recruitment of IAS, IPS, IFS, IES, medical services, Lecturers, Professors and other public related services in Jharkhand state. JPSC works same as the UPSC but the only difference is UPSC is at All India level and JPSC is only for Jharkhand state. JPSC recruits candidates for vacant vacancies through written exam.
