Notice for Hiring of personnels for special purpose on contractual basis in Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board (JSPCB) Applications are invited for engagement against various posts in JSPCB. The details of which are as mentioned below: 1. Position: Environment Expert 2. No of Posts: 02 3. Consolidated Pay: INR 67,700/- 4. Essential Qualifications: From amongst the persons having Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering related subject or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Chemical Civil Engineering related subject from Recognized University / Institute. Or a From amongst the persons having Master's Degree in Environment Science and related subject from a Recognized University / Institute. 5. Required Experience: Good knowledge of office MS and minimum 8 years of working experience in the field of Municipal Solid Waste Management Waste Water Treatment and and etc. having knowledge of Rules and Regulations related Acts, to Environmental Management Pollution Control. 1. Position: Assistant 2. No of Posts: 01 3. Consolidated Pay: INR 35400/- 4. Essential Qualifications: From amongst the persons having Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University / Institute. 5. Required Experience: Good knowledge of MS office, Hindi and English Typing along with minimum 3 years of working experience and having knowledge of Acts, Rules and Regulations related to Environmental Management Pollution Control.

Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board, which was constituted under section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 first time on 09.09.2001, started functioning on 15.12.2001. It has at present a nominated Chairman, fifteen nominated Members, and an appointed Member Secretary.
The Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974; the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Cess Act, 1974; the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and the Rules framed by the State Government under the first and third Act and those framed by the Central Government under the second and the fourth Act are in effect in the State.
