Head, Visiting Faculty and Various Posts

Educational Qualification:
(i) HoD, VA: Qualified MFA from a recognized University with minimum 10 years teaching experience with regular art practices ; Desirable: UGC-NET in Visual Arts.
(ii) Guest Faculty: Diploma in Visual Arts from Kalakshetra Foundation with five year’s experience / Masters Degree inVisual Arts from a recognized University with 2 years of field experience/regular art practices.
(iii) Visiting Faculty: BFA/B.Sc in Visual communication. Desirable :MFA/M.Sc in Visual Communication.
Pay Scale:
INR
22000-65000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 60 Years.

Kalakshetra, now officially known as the Kalakshetra Foundation, is an arts and cultural academy dedicated to the preservation of traditional values in Indian art and crafts, especially in the field of Bharatanatyam dance and Gandharvaveda music. The Foundation is based in Chennai. The academy was founded in January 1936 by Rukmini Devi Arundale. Under Arundale's guidance, the institution achieved national and international recognition for its unique style and perfectionism. In 1962, Kalakshetra moved to a new campus in Besant Nagar, Chennai.
