Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Junior Resident (Non-PG)

  • Essential Qualification: MBBS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by NMC/MCI.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years as on the date of Interview. Age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates with UP domicile, widowed/divorced women, and disabled persons as per Govt rules.
  • Experience: Candidates can apply for these posts only up to 5 years from their internship completion dates.
  • Reservation: Reservation applies as per UP Govt rules. Candidates must have UP domicile to avail reservation benefits.
  • Service Limit: Maximum 36 months of service allowed (max 18 months in one department).
