Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)
Educational Qualification
- MBBS Degree: The candidate must have passed MBBS (including completion of Internship) or an equivalent degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Experience: Candidates can apply for these posts only up to 5 years from their internship completion dates.
- Service Limit: For all eligible candidates, a maximum of 36 months total service is allowed (maximum 18 months allowed in one department).
- State Registration: State Medical Registration is mandatory before joining, if selected.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for eligibility is 40 years.
- Age as on: Age is reckoned as of the date of Interview (9th March 2026).
- Age Relaxation: A relaxation of up to 5 years may be given to:
- SC/ST/OBC candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- Widowed/Divorced/Legally separated women who have not re-married.
- Disabled/Handicapped persons.
Reservation & Domicile
- Reservation applies as per UP Government rules.
- Only candidates having domicile of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for reservation benefits.
- Reserved category candidates having domicile other than UP will be treated as Unreserved category candidates.
- OBC certificates must be less than 6 months old at the time of the interview.

Recruitment is conducted through a Walk-in-Interview process. There is no written competitive examination.
