Eligibility for Professor

• Essential: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and registration in State/National Medical Register. Postgraduate qualification recognized by NMC (MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB or equivalent). For non-medical: Doctorate degree from recognized university. Specific departmental qualifications as per Table-III in the notification.
• Experience: 13 years teaching/research experience after MD/PhD or 10 years after DM/MCh (3 years).
• Salary: ₹2,20,000/- (Consolidated Monthly)
• Age Limit: No upper age limit, retirement age 65 years (re-employment up to 70 years possible).

Eligibility for Associate Professor

• Essential: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and registration in State/National Medical Register. Postgraduate qualification recognized by NMC (MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB or equivalent). For non-medical: Doctorate degree from recognized university. Specific departmental qualifications as per Table-III in the notification.
• Experience: 06 years teaching/research experience after MD/PhD or 03 years after DM/MCh.
• Salary: ₹1,60,000/- (Consolidated Monthly)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years. Relaxation: SC/ST - 05 years; OBC - 03 years; PwBD - 05 years.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor

• Essential: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and registration in State/National Medical Register. Postgraduate qualification recognized by NMC (MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB/DrNB or equivalent). For non-medical: Doctorate degree from recognized university. Specific departmental qualifications as per Table-III in the notification.
• Experience: 03 years teaching/research experience after MD/PhD or 0 years after DM/MCh. Additional research publications and completion of Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) as specified.
• Salary: ₹1,20,000/- (Consolidated Monthly)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years. Relaxation: SC/ST - 05 years; OBC - 03 years; PwBD - 05 years.
