Note: Vacancies are distributed across the Principal Seat of Madras High Court, 36 districts of Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry. Candidates can apply for only one District.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 01.09.2026.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Sc (IT)
- BCA
- B.E. (Computer Science) / B.Tech
- MCA
- M.Sc (Computer Science) / M.Sc (IT)
- M.E (Computer Science) / M.Tech
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process will be conducted at the Principal District Court of the concerned district and consists of the following stages:
- Written-cum-Skill Test (Total 50 Marks):
- Written Exam (25 Marks): 25 MCQs covering OS basics, Networking, PDF/Document handling, Video Conferencing, Hardware troubleshooting, and Internet basics. Minimum qualifying marks: 10.
- Skill Test (25 Marks): Practical assessment on Scanning/OCR, PDF conversion, LibreOffice, LAN configuration, and hardware troubleshooting. Minimum qualifying marks: 10.
- Viva Voce (50 Marks): Candidates shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio based on Written-cum-Skill Test merit will be assessed for mental alertness, skills, and suitability. Minimum qualifying marks: 20.
- Document Verification: Final selection is based on the combined total marks and is subject to successful verification of original documents.
Important: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test or interview.

- Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
- All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
- Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
