Age Limit (as on 03.08.2026):Varies by post (32 to 55 years). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) as per Government norms. For serving non-executive MAHA-Metro employees, relaxation up to 40/43/45 years is applicable under specific conditions.
Salary (IDA Pay Scale):
₹40,000 to ₹2,80,000 per month (IDA Pay Scale), plus DA, Perks, and other allowances as applicable in MAHA-Metro.
Selection Procedure: Personal Interview, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates may be shortlisted based on eligibility/qualifications/experience. The candidate's performance in the interview is the basis for empanelment.

- Superscribe Envelope: The envelope should be properly sealed and superscribed with the Name of the Post and Advertisement Number.

Key Instructions for Candidates
- Service Bond: Selected candidates will be required to sign a service bond to serve the Corporation for a minimum period of three years.
- Posting: Selected candidates are liable to be posted at any place where MAHA-Metro projects are in operation or are likely to be started.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness examination as per the prescribed medical category.
- No TA/DA: No Travelling Allowance or Dearness Allowance will be paid for attending the selection process or joining duty.
- Application Integrity: Incomplete or late applications will be rejected without consideration. Furnishing false information will lead to cancellation of candidature and potential termination of services.
- Deputation: Candidates intending to come on deputation should obtain prior approval as per the HR Policy of their parent organization.
- Shortlisting: If sufficient candidates are not available, candidates with lesser experience or higher age may be considered for shortlisting for the same or a lower-grade post.

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO), is a 50:50 jointly owned company of the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.
All metro rail projects will be covered under the legal framework of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978; the Metro Railways (Operation and Maintenance) Act, 2002; and the Railways Act, 1989, as amended from time to time.
The existing Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRCL) which is a joint Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of the Government of India (GoI) and the Government of Maharashtra (GoM), has been reconstituted into Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) for implementation of all metro projects in the State of Maharashtra outside Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The project will benefit from experience and learnings from other Metro Rail projects in Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Nagpur, etc.
