Educational Qualification:
Stenographer (Higher Grade): 3rd Floor Van Bhavan Ramgiri Road Passed Secondary School Examination. Shorthand speed of at least 120 words per minute English typing speed of a minimum of 40 words per minute or Marathi typing speed of a minimum of 30 words per minute, Government Commercial Certificate of this qualification is required. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Stenographer (Lower Grade): Passed Secondary School Examination. Shorthand speed of at least 100 words per minute English typing speed of a minimum of 40 words per minute or Marathi typing speed of a minimum of 30 words per minute, Government Commercial Certificate of this qualification. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Junior Engineer (Civil) (Junior Engineer (Architecture)): Candidate must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering of three years duration recognized by the Government or any other qualification recognized as its equivalent. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Senior Statistics Assistant: Candidate should possess a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Agriculture, or Statistics from a recognized University or Must possess at least a second-class degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Agriculture, or Statistics from a recognized university. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Junior Statistics Assistant: Candidate must possess a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Agriculture, or Statistics from a recognized university. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Surveyor: Candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th). Should hold a surveyor training course certificate from a recognized institution Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Accountant: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th) with at least one subject either Science or Mathematics or Geography or Economics. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category will be eligible to apply if they have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination (10th).

Forest Guard: The candidate must hold a degree from a recognized university. Knowledge of the Marathi language is required.

Globally as well as nationally, Forest Conservation is increasingly being viewed as a powerful instrument in sequestering carbon and thereby offset adverse climate change. Maharashtra Forest Department, being custodian of the State’s rich and diverse bio-diversity, is committed to a conservation-centric management and protection strategy. Augmenting green cover on non-forest areas to achieve national targets of 33% of land area under green cover remains a forefront agenda. Intensive use of Information and Communication Technology supplemented by e-governance is under effective use to monitor ongoing forestry activities. Extensive use of digital platform to project a true picture of forest conservation forms the central theme.
