Majhi Vasundhara Mission under Environment and Climate Change Department intends to shortlist eligible candidates for the proposed positions of (1) Climate Change and Sustainability Expert, (2) MIS Associate, (3) IEC Associate cum Content Writer and (4) Divisional Technical Expert at State Mission Directorate Office, Mumbai. 4. Educational qualification: Minimum 18 months & above experience in the field of climate change and sustainability preferably with the government, UN or bilateral agencies
5. Skills Required:At least one year experience in programme implementation, monitoring in local sector with special focus on environmental science in collaboration with the UN and/or government. Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing. quantitative and qualitative analysis. Marathi language proficiency. Proven experience of working with government departments particularly with local governments.
a. Experience in project implementation, program in development, project handling and monitoring at field level and state level. Thorough understanding of climate science, state action plan and IPCC report. Understanding of climate finance, circular economy, health effects of climate change, sustainable development. Excellent research skills. Volunteering experience in the relevant field will be advantageous.
6. Contractual Honorarium Rs 64,000/- per month

1. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the department committee.
2. The shortlisted candidates for the post at sr. no (1) to (3) will be posted at Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan, State Mission Directorate, Nariman Point, Mumbai and the post at sr no (4) is for Konkan, Nashik and Amravati Division. Therefore, selected candidate will be posted in those divisions.
