The appointments are on a purely temporary basis and co-terminus with the HSRF sponsored research project. The tenure for each position is limited to the maximum duration stated above; extensions, if any, will depend on project continuation.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Research Assistant (01): Postgraduate degree in Management, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Education, Social Sciences or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates as per MDU rules). A PhD or NET qualification in the concerned subject is required. Preference will be given to candidates possessing research experience, data analysis skills, and proficiency in MSOffice / SPSS / R / NVivo / VOSviewer.
• Project Fellow (01): Postgraduate degree in Management, Economics, Commerce, Education, Social Sciences or allied disciplines with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates as per MDU rules). Preference will be given to candidates having field survey experience and report writing skills. Proficiency in MSOffice / SPSS / R / NVivo / VOSviewer will be advantageous.
• Field Investigator (05): Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in conducting field surveys, data collection, communication skills in Hindi and English, and willingness to travel extensively across Haryana.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be based on shortlisting followed by a personal interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
• Candidates must appear physically for the interview.
• The tentative interview date is 19 October 2026 — candidates should monitor the official MDU website for updates.
• No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.
• The University reserves the right not to fill any or all posts without assigning any reason.
