Post-wise Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Occupational Therapist

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Eligibility for Radiotherapy Technician

  • Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Physics) / B.Sc. (Medical Imaging Technology) with Post Graduate Diploma in Radiotherapy Technology OR B.Sc. (Radiotherapy Technology) from a recognized Institute/University approved by AERB.
  • Experience: Minimum one year's experience as a Radiotherapy Technician in a 500-bedded hospital will be preferred.

Eligibility for Pharmacist

  • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy/B. Pharma/M. Pharma from a Recognized University. Registration under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act is mandatory.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a 500-bedded hospital will be preferred.

Important Instructions & Notes

  • Candidates applying for reserved category posts must submit caste certificate, caste validity certificate, and recent non-creamy layer certificate (wherever applicable).
  • Reservation benefits are admissible to backward class/category candidates domiciled in Maharashtra only.
  • Registration with the Local Employment Exchange is mandatory.
  • Age limit (18-38 years for open category, 18-43 years for reserved category) and qualifications/experience are considered up to the last date of application.
  • NOC certificate from the present employer is mandatory.
  • Only eligible candidates will be called for a Written/Skill test and Document Verification/Interview.
  • Number of posts may vary.
  • Pay Scale is as per KHS rule.

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS) is India’s first rural medical college, nestled in the karmabhoomi of Mahatma Gandhi, in Sevagram. It is managed by the Kasturba Health Society. The college was earlier affiliated to the Nagpur University (1969-1997) and from year 1998 it is now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
