Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

  • Essential Qualification: H.S.L.C./ Matriculate from a recognized Board.
  • Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Language: The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialects of Manipur.
  • Residency: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur. A candidate whose parent or any ancestor in the direct lineage is a permanent resident of the State, with proper documentary proof, is also eligible.
  • Experience: Refer to official notification.

Age Limit

  • Age Limit (as on 05-02-2026): Shall not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years.
  • Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants (extent of continuous service) + 5 years for SC/ST + 3 years for OBC.

Selection Process

The selection shall be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

  • General Knowledge: 50 Questions, 50 Marks
  • Basic Mathematics: 25 Questions, 25 Marks
  • English Language: 25 Questions, 25 Marks
  • Duration: 75 minutes (100 minutes for DAP candidates using a scribe).
  • Marking: 1 mark for correct answer, 0.5 mark deduction for wrong answer.

Application Fee

  • General & OBC: Rs. 400/-
  • SC & ST: Rs. 200/-
  • DAP (Differently Abled Persons): Exempted
