Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) Invites Application for 18 Assistant Professor Recruitment 2021

Applications for the post of Assistant Professors to be filled on contract basis on fixed remuneration were invited by MAIDS vide Advertisements dated 10.12.2018 and dated 20.12.2019. It has been decided to fill all vacant post of Assistant Professors on regular basis.

1. Position: Assistant Professor

2. Pay Scale: Pay matrix level-11 Rs. 67,700/- to Rs. 2,08,700/- + all allowances admissible to regular employees.

3. Qualification:

(i) Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics:

(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).

(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.

(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.

(ii) Dental Anatomy:

(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).

(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology.

(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.

(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.

(iii) Forensic Odontology:

(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).

(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral Pathology with full time regular Diploma/Degree in Forensic Odontology/Forensic Sciences from a recognised institution of repute after MDS in Oral Pathology. or MSc. in Forensic Odontology from a recognized University after BDS.

(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality in a Dental College.

(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.

(iv) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery:

(a) A Qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act 1948 (Act 16 of 1948).

(b) A Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Institute or Equivalent in the subject of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

(c) Four (4) years teaching Experience after Post Graduation in the concerned speciality from a recognized Dental College.

(d) Should be registered with State Dental Council.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be made through written screening test which would be qualifying only, followed by interview (Only those candidates who qualify the written screening test, will be called for interview) (Qualifying Marks For Written Test For General Candiates – 50% And OBC Candiates – 45%). However, out of the maximum number of qualified candidates in written screening test who shall be called for interview shall not be more than 3 times the number of vacancies.
