Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a degree in the respective discipline from any Indian University/Institute recognized by the Government of Meghalaya or UGC or AICTE, as below:- A minimum of a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical & Electronics Engineering. For the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) - A minimum of a diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

INR
15500-17500/- Per Month

Interested candidates should submit their application in standard form along with self-attested copies of all certificates and supporting documents and 2 (two) passport size photographs in the office of the Director (Corporate Affairs), MeECL, Lum Jingshai, Short Round Road, Shillong - 793001, on working days between 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. The last date for acceptance of the application is 15th May 2023.

Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL), is a state-owned electric utility company headquartered in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. It engages in the Generation, Transmission, and Distribution of Hydro-Power.
MeSEB was constituted under Section (5) of the Electricity (Supply) Act 1948 by the Government of Meghalaya vide notification no. PE 304/74 dated 21/12/1974. The board came into existence on 21.01.1975.
The board was initially responsible for the coordinated development of the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Meghalaya in the most efficient, reliable, and economical manner.
In order to bring about accountability, transparency, competitiveness, reduction of losses, and improved performance for better customer satisfaction, the government unbundled Meghalaya State Electricity Board (MSEB) into four corporations under Meghalaya Power Sector Reforms Transfer Scheme 2010.
