Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech, M.Phil/Ph.D
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the post of Scientists 'F* and 'E' in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), on direct recruitment basis as per the following details:
1. Name of the Post: Scientists E
2. No of Post: 04
3. Scale of Pay: Level 13 (Rs. 123100 - 215900) in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Pre-revised PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000+ GP Rs. 8700/-)
4. Qualifications:
a) Essential - Doctorate Degree in Natural Science or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institute. Ten years experience in R&D, project management, and policy regulation relevant to Renewable Energy, such as solar, wind (including offshore), hydrogen, etc.
b) Desirable - Experience in handling national and international programmes in emerging areas of RE technology, for example, battery storage, offshore wind, hydrogen, etc.

3. Scale of Pay: Level 13A (Rs. 131100- 216600) in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Pre-revised PB-4, Rs. 37400-67000+ GP Rs. 8900/-)
4. Qualifications:
a) Essential - Doctorate Degree in Natural Science or Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institute. Twelve years experience in R&D, project management, and policy regulation relevant to Renewable Energy, such as solar, wind (including offshore), hydrogen, etc.
b) Desirable - Experience in handling national and international programmes in emerging areas of RE technology, for example, battery storage, offshore wind, hydrogen, etc.
Pay Scale: INR 123100 - 216600(Per Month)
Age Limit: Scientist E: Years, Scientist F: 50 Years
Selection Procedure
The screening and selection process shall be as prescribed by Central Government. The composition of the Screening Committee and Assessment Board for direct recruitment shall be as prescribed by Central Government.

1. Eligible candidates are required to fill and submit the applications through online mode only on the following portal: https://careermnre.nise.res.in/ using a valid email ID and mobile number. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
2. This online portal shall be available for a period of 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar
3. The candidates will also be required to upload the relevant centificates/ documents. The detailed instructions for filling the online application may be seen under the "How to Apply section on the portal. Candidates must carefully go through the instructions before filling the application form. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they follow the instructions while filling the application and upload clear legible certificates/documents. Uploading of illegible/incorrect certificates/documents may lead to rejection of the candidature. Submission of hard copies of applications is NOT REQUIRED.
4. Note: Experience/employment certificates for work/research work must clearly indicate the date of joining, date of relieving and post held.
5. Candidates working in Government Departments/ Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Organizations should upload No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority of the organization they are serving. It is the responsibility of such candidates to ensure that they obtain NOC from their Department/organization within time to upload the same in the portal.
6. Copies of certificates in support of educational qualifications, date of birth, disability, community (in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates only) and experience should be uploaded with the application. Candidates will have to produce the original certificates as and when required.
