1. Post Name: Consultant – MOHFW (INternational Health Section)- Delhi

2. Location: New Delhi

3. Roles and Responsibilities:

a. Project - International Health Section: InternationalHealth Section is the nodal section for handling all matters related to World Health Organisation (WHO), BRICS, JICA, other UN organisations and PHO/APHO.

b. The Section is mandated to process all foreign deputation cases of officials / experts / doctors of MoHFW to attend primarily various overseas meetings which are organized by WHO and other multilateral international organizations.Consultant (04 post)To Organize various international / national meetings of WHO & BRICS.

c. To prepare views / comments on various international / national meetings of WHO & BRICS.To prepare interventions on various international / national meetings of WHO & BRICS.

4. .Qualification: Post Graduate Degree

5. Desirable:Working experience in any govt. / private office

6. Consultant’s role:

a. Matters related to World Health Organisation (WHO/UN Agencies). Matters related to projects under the JICA Assistance programme. Matters related to PHO/APHO/LBHO.Preparing the India’s intervention for WHA, PBAC & Executive Board of WHO meetings.

b. Process all foreign deputation cases of officials/experts/doctors of MoHFW to attend primarily various overseas meeting which are organized by WHO and other multilateral organization.

c. Matter related to Budget provisions. Processing and arranging for various meetings. Prepare speeches for Hon’ble HFM for various occasions in respect of IH Division.

d. Drafting and finalization of bilateral Agreements/MoUs with foreign countries for cooperation in the field of Health and Medicine, including making arrangements for signing ceremonies, meetings of Joint Working Group (JWG)/workshop, etc. preparation of interventions/ Minutes of Joint Working Groups.

e. Preparing the India’s intervention for the meetings of Hon’ble Minister and Secretary for the various bilateral meetings/ G20 meetings etc. and preparation to Minutes of the Meetings. Process all foreign deputation cases of officials/experts/doctors of MoHFW to attend primarily various overseas meeting organized.

f. Prepare speeches for Hon’ble HFM for various occasions in respect of IC Division. To support in day-to-day work related to IC&IH DivisionAny other work as assigned in view of the requirement.
