Subject: - Engagement of Technical Consultant to provide technical support/advice to Road Asset management System (RAMS) Cell of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways proposes to engage Technical Consultants (1 in Field of Civil Engineering i.e. Highway Engineer) for a period of 2 years as detailed below:-

1. Name of the Post: Technical Consultant

2. No of Post: 01

3. Qualification: Graduate in Civil Engineering.

4. Essential Experience:

i. Minimum 6 years of experience in field of Highway/Bridge Engineering.

ii. Exposure to Road Asset Management/Bridge Management System

iii. Good Knowledge of IRC Codes/Standard and Specification of Bridge/Highway 

5. Desirable:

i. Experience in Road Asset Management/ Bridge Management System handling with State or Central Government/ PSU/ Autonomous bodies.

ii. Post Graduation/Ph. D.

iii. Good Professional Track Record

iv. Strong Communication Skills both oral & written.

6. Period of engagement: - The initial period of engagement of Consultant(s) would be for a period of maximum 2 (two) years. After expiry of the initial term, engagement may be extended, based on requirement of Ministry and performance of Consultant(s) concerned, with the approval of competent authority, for a maximum period of two year beyond 2 years.

7. Emoluments: The maximum amount of monthly consolidated remuneration payable to the Consultants shall be Rs as follow. Fee/Remuneration of consultant(s) will increase by 5% per annum. Technical Consultant in field of Civil Engineering : 1,42,500/-
