Mizoram University Invites Application for Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following research project funded by DST-SERB at the Department of Physics, Mizoram University, Aizawl.

1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Title of the Project: Timing and Spectral Analysis of Black Hole X-ray Binaries

3. Project duration: 3 years (36 months). The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

4. Eligibility: Candidate having M.Sc. degree (with at least 60% mark) in Physics or relevant subjects.

5. Desirable: Knowledge in Astrophysics/ Analytical Software

6. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- pm + 8% HRA (for 1st yr and 2nd yr) and Rs. 35,000/- pm + 8% HRA (for 3rd year).

Selection Procedure

Interview procedure: Date of interview will be communicated through email. The shortlisted candidates will be informed through email for interview. Online/Offline or blended mode based interview will be conducted. No TA & DA will be paid if called for the interview.
