Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification:
  • M.Tech in Applied Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics and Design, Computational Mechanics, Design (Mechanical Engineering), or Materials and Metallurgy.
  • B.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, Design Engineering, or Equivalent.
• Desirable Qualifications:
  • Good knowledge of Abaqus, Ansys/LS-Dyna and related computer programming.
  • Exposure to impact/blast testing and simulation of high and very high strain rates through experiments.
  • Higher qualification and experience will be given preference.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: Preferably below 35 years.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Female candidates.
• Experience Relaxation: Age limit is also relaxable for deserving candidates with relevant experience.

Mandatory Requirements

• Physical fitness as per institute rules.
• Original documents will be verified at the time of the interview.

Selection Process

The selection for the Junior Research Fellow position will be carried out in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on merit, summary of previous work, and project needs.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in Physical Mode (Offline) at MNNIT Allahabad.
