Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation (NHDC Limited) is a Joint Venture of NHPC Ltd & Govt. of M.P and was formerly known as Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation Ltd. It was established on 1st August 2000 and has its Corporate Office at Bhopal. It was formed with the objective of developing hydropower and other renewable energy potential in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Currently, it is the largest hydropower producer in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
