Educational Qualification:
Section Officer: Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or the Supreme Court or High Courts.

Accounts Officer:
(i) must have passed the Subordinate Audit or Account Services or equivalent examination conducted by any one of the Organized Accounts Department of the Central Government; and
(ii) must have successfully completed training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of the Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent training course and have minimum three years' experience in Cash, Accounts and Budget work.

Accountant and Cashier: undergone training in cash and accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or equivalent course and possessing two years' experience of cash, accounts and budget work.

Personal Assistant: Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or autonomous bodies or statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or the Supreme Court or High Courts.
